We predict: Kate Pang. Kate’s been pretty active the past year and her acting shows a higher level of maturity (probably because of the variety of roles she played). Her role in A Tale of 2 Cities is also way bigger than the other 4 nominees.

Christopher Lee – The Oath

We predict: Christopher Lee. His role in ‘The Oath’ was by far one of the most memorable roles in his career. His chemistry with Jesseca Liu was good and his portrayal as a Chinese Medical Practitioner was convincing and we’re really hoping for Ah Ge to win this round!

We predict: Zoe Tay. Imagine playing a mother of 5 grown up kids; the emotions, the turmoil, the agony, the happiness, the jubilations of a mother. All in a single role. We saw depth and emotions. Good luck to Ah Di Mama.

We predict: Chen Han Wei. We were surprised that Chen Han Wei fell into the Supporting category, but nevertheless, his role as Xu Kun, the scheming villain in ‘A Song to Remember’ is ‘a role to remember’ for its plots against the female leads. Villains normally stand a better chance at winning, right?

We predict: Ng Hui. We caught the whole series of Kampung Ties and every single episode just makes you wanna slap Ng Hui. Ah… If that ability is able to capture the viewer’s attention, there’s a chance of capturing the judge’s attention too!

Happy new year to our dear viewers! I’m Chin Teck and I am the official blogger for the second season of ‘The Critics’!

The main objective of ‘The Critics’ is to expose our viewers to some of the awards that will be presented during TCP’s Awards Ceremony on the 31st of March! We will also include inside jokes and gossips in TCP!! *hint hint* Here is a picture taken during the filming of The Critics 2!

So dear loyal viewers, do expect more creative segments, more exciting performances and definitely more juicy gossips in this season of ‘THE CRITICS’!

It’s my first time hosting such a genre (impromptu & on-the-go show), I believe the challenge is to speak fluently and being able to react on the dot. Also, during our filming process, one of the most difficult things for us is to contain our laughter. Director Sean has so many ideas and they were just too hilarious.

Always wanted to learn the art of acting? You’ll be glad to know that we’re going to teach you how!

After a year of preparation, planning and brainstorming, The Changing Point Productions 1st ever 演员训练班 (Acting Course) is here! Although details are still the midst of being released, here are some of the opportunities you can look forward to!

- Learn the techniques. (Emotions, Body Languages, Expression).
- Participating in our Drama Serials. (Your skills taught in class will be put to good use!)
- Building your confidence and how to face the media. (You know we’ve been on Radio and on Papers, right?)
- Becoming a Full-Time Artiste with us. (You know we’re an Online Tv Station, right?)
- Fulfilling your dream! (At an affordable cost of course!)

We’ll video down a particular module too!

- We do not charge exorbitant fees for our classes. We believe in being affordable to our students & clients.
- Ensuring that our students understand the true meaning behind acting through our quality classes (We have got 9 Generations of actors and actresses to testify this).

- 8 x lessons.

Greetings from The Changing Point Productions!

2011 was a great year for our station and channel. As an Online TV station, we have to constantly brainstorm new elements and genres to cater to our ever loyal viewers. I would say that it was an exceptional year; because we had many firsts.

Since our branching of our Variety Department in 2010, we have seen a significant increase in our viewership. In 2011, we ventured into many areas we never thought we would. Shows like Food Talks and The Female Empire were some of the combustions delivered to our viewers. Singaporeans in Singapore 2, our highest rated Variety Show till date, also saw one of the episodes ‘Adelyn HoSehBo’ got viral and amassed over 22,000 views. We never thought or expected any of our shows to go viral and we can only thank you, our viewers for making that possible.

Our Drama Department also saw an increase in the number of average viewership. Our Blockbusters like Ink of Destruction and Intangible Bond got many viewers discussing about the plots. It was heartening to receive the many positive feedbacks from you at home. We also witness ‘When the Gambling Prince meets the Mafia Princess’ amassing over 4000 views, making it the all-time most watched drama serial since our inception in 2006.

2011 also saw the birth of our commercial department, TCP Services. One of our client’s works ‘Singapore’s First Flash Mob Proposal’ saw a tsunami of viral shares on social media sites, which raked in 83,000 viewers till date. The joy amongst our team was indescribable. For this to happen, we can only give thanks to you at home.

In this special year, we were also invited by Radio 100.3 for our 1st radio interview and Omy.sg for having us to collaborate for Singapore’s 1st Social Media Day. It was also very memorable as my buddy Desmond (TCP’s Finance Manager) and I were arranged for an interview with a group from NTU to talk about the station. Memorable indeed.

In 2012, we will continue to carry on our mission as Singapore’s 1st Online TV Station to bring you quality productions. For variety lovers, shows like Food Talks and The Critics will be back for a second season. Not forgetting a brand new collaboration with the local music industry. For drama chasers, do indent your popcorns as new blockbuster drama serials ‘Pottery’ and ‘Vengeance’ takes shape in our studios. Not neglecting the youthful folks as we will be producing our 1st ever idol drama serial ‘Cupid. Angel’.

To end, I am not able to find any suitable vocabulary to express my gratitude to all the support we got in 2011. I can only say thank you, to all our sponsors, clients, media partners and our viewers at home for shaping our magical year. I wish you all the best of luck in health and wealth to you and your loved ones in 2012. God bless you all.
